My Published poem "I died a little" in loving memory & remembrance of my sweet soul sister Kris

Dear Shamwaris

It has been 20 months since my late sweet soul sister, Krista tragic demise and suicide.

My heartfelt poem, "I died a little" dedicated to my beloved late sister Krista

In loving memory and remembrance of my late sweet soul sister Kris.

You know
I died a little
I cried a little
I despaired a little
knowing that you
no longer here
to wipe away my
mournful, sad
and lonely tears
left forlorn
to pick up the pieces
and to carry on
all alone!

You know
I sighed a little
I grieved a little
I tried to forgive
and to forget
to move on
but to no avail
as nothing in
this materialistic
mad world could
redeem
replace or
bring you
back to me!

You know
My fragile heart
cracked a little
as my limp useless body
hurt & ached a little
left alone
lost & vulnerable
and tragically blue
without you!

You know
since you left me
I die a little
each & every day
nothing can
fill this soulless
emptiness
hollow abyss
I feel or ease
my grief stricken
pangs of pain
you always in my prayers
since you went away.

You know
I cry an ocean of tears
each & every day
but nothing alleviates
or abates my
tears or fears
you no longer here
to comfort & soothe
or fill the vacuum
left in my heart
and soul today.

You know
I will never forget you Kris
A true presence
& pure gift to us all
A talented Artist
great giver & listener
remembering the good times
that we both shared
to commemorate
& celebrate
your tragic life

Lovingly remembered
and cherished
in my heart and mind
today and
forever more
as I say my final farewell
and adieu to my late
beloved Sweet Soul Sis Kris

My published & copyright Poem & Tribute to the late great, Michael Jackson that I wrote.

“The Essence of Michael Jackson”

My Heart Felt Tribute & Poem to

The Late Great Michael Jackson

As seen through my eyes..

Michael, “The Prince of Pop”
How you agonised,
sacrificed and suffered so
for sharing and giving the world
your love
your creativity
your ingenuity
your music
dance and incredible songs
that will inspire and live forever on.

Michael, in my eyes
an innocent lost boy child
trapped within whilst
outside a vulnerable
crumbling visage of a
trusting man

A puppet dancing for the media strings
Filled with so much pain and hurt
Struggling and longing just to be loved
understood and finally to be set free.

Michael, there could never be another
as superbly talented & as creative as you
No other could have broken down barriers
connected
touched
and inspired
as you
This world was never meant
for one as beautiful as you

Michael, you will never be forgotten
Your music and legacy
you gave us
will remain and carry on
to illuminate
Share
Create
Inspire
and appreciate
The Great Bright Super Star
that you were and will be forever more.

Michael, we will always love you!

I read my published poem "Ode to Anne Robinson" to Celeb Anne Robinson in person on her popular BBC TV show "The Weakest link"

Howzit my Shamwaris / Warriors!

Donna Africa "The Queen of Dreams" reads her poem & ode to Anne Robinson, "The Queen of mean" on BBC TV!

I thought I would share with you my poem that I wrote entitled, "Ode to Anne Robinson" that I especially wrote for TV Celebrity, Anne Robinson, host of the popular BBC TV quiz show "The Weakest Link" of whom I had the honour and pleasure to read to Anne herself, on her BBC popular TV show, "The weakest link" which was televised on BBC2 on the 26th March in 2012.

"Ode to Anne Robinson"
TV Quiz Master of “The Weakest Link”

Sarcastic, acerbic & witty is she
Aptly nick named “The Queen of Mean!”
as she never puts her contestants at ease
in “The Weakest Link” at Tea Time on the BBC
A Superior Quiz Master is she
who daily graces our TV Screens.

Authoritatively dressed in black
with fiery Irish auburn locks
as she belittles & mocks
in her journalistic talented way
as this regal lady in black
will always have her say!

A National Treasure is she
And we Brits would have no other
to grace our Tea Time Telly screens
as we know that this is all done
tongue in cheek with jest aplenty
and much fun on the BBC One!

At the end of the Popular TV Show
the winner triumphant with all the lolly
Anne looks away announcing
“You are the weakest link”
with a wry smile and a cheeky wink!
It very much leaves me to think
that maybe you & I
could be the missing link!
