My personal tribute to our "Madiba" My Hero & Great Guiding Light, Nelson Mandela

As a former South African resident from 1981-2004. I was eventually given citizenship status in 1994, inorder, that I could for the very first time cast my vote, alongside my fellow South African brothers and sisters, in the first free and fair elections held in South Africa.

I queued up alongside my fellow Africans to cast my vote and was very proud of my brown stained thumb nail, which was the mark & symbol that I had cast my vote.

An ideal and dream of a democratic and free society, realised and made true by a visionary leader and guiding light, the great late, Nelson Mandela, affectionately nick-named "Madiba" (The trouble maker!)

A Great Warrior, Freedom Fighter, Forgiver, Peacemaker and Unifier.

R.I.P Our "Tata" beloved father and great world leader, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela 18th July 1918 - 5th December 2013.

Born to lead and to forgive the sins of our forefathers and their previous leaders.

With Love, Light and Liberty!

Film Premiere of Alan Partridge "Alpha Papa" & that cheeky kiss! Norwich 24th July 2013

I feel so intensely proud of Norwich for holding such a superb, red carpet film premiere, for Alan Partridge, "Alpha Papa" filmed by Studio Canal UK. Although I was merely a bystander, I especially came out to show my support for the Arts & Culture in Norwich, appropriately attired in my Zulu Warrior Outfit with my trusty assegai & warrior shield, hoping to meet the man of the moment, Alan Partridge in person.

Alan Partridge blew me away with his charism, character and charm. When he came to greet his Norwich Fans - situated behind the barriers - and as he approached me, I asked Alan "Alan I am from Cape Town, can I have a kiss?" Alan replied "Yes!" and we simultaneously planted a cheeky kiss on each others cheeks! I was smitten and star struck all at once & as a gesture of my gratitude and appreciation, I gave Alan Partridge my Donna Africa T-Shirt which he graciously accepted!

It was an exceptional day for Zulu warrior poet me as I then got to meet the Norwich locals, who all wanted their photographs taken with me because they had seen me on TV in "Four Rooms" on Friday night, 19th July 2013.  Plus I got interviewed by Sky TV, SPG TV, interviewed by handsome reporter, Paul from "The Independent" newspaper and then filmed for a documentary for channel 4!

Phew, thank you Alan Partridge for holding your film premiere of "Alpha Papa" here in our fine city of Norwich. We Norwich Locals have taken an instant shine to you and into our hearts and I will definately be going to see your film!

With Luv, Light and Liberty,
